Hi, I really love your site. The content is interesting, and the aesthetic is so cohesive. I also wanted to share that your blog entry about the equestrian school excursion really touched me. It reminded me of when I was 6 years old and terrified of going to the first day of school that year. My mom was financially unable to buy the items on my school supply list, not even pencils and glue. We were desperately poor, and we'd had a recent house fire that made the situation even more dire. But on the morning of the first day of school, a friend and her mom showed up at the door to present me with a Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame backpack filled with everything I needed. I often think about how kind that was. Despite the state of the world, it's nice to remember that there is still kindness.

Hi there. Your site feels really nice to browse. Read through some blog entries. My summer schedule is pretty similar. I like your music page, too. Good Hiromi album. I've never heard of Camel before, but I'm listening now and I dig it! Just downloaded your button. smile

(10:20am 05-07-2024) hello ^^ your site is a marvel; so clean, sharp, watery... i love your vibe! it's always irked me when people say that "veganism is for the privileged" because as you point out, meat is really expensive! but there's also a weird (downward) classism to it? where, because someone is "poor" they're "allowed" to inflict harm, their questionable moral behaviors are somehow more forgivable. To me, it always shows how the upper classes view the lower ones as so inherently unclean... i hope that makes sense? It's just so patronizing and infantilizing, actually too... anyway, i'm very happy i came across your site. all the best & looking forward to reading more of your thoughts in the future! rose

(8:50am 04-16-2024) i resonate so strongly with your latest writing and agree with everything said. it's so important to advocate for animals and encourage veganism. i've unfortunately met so many people like your professor that try to start a whole debate after just hearing "im vegan" even if it's just in a setting where i'm just trying to get food - and these are usually the same people that complain about vegans forcing their beliefs on others confused anyways, i love the site and the nostalgic layout - keep it up!!

Since the website where my old guestbook was hosted is closing, I will repost the two (adorable) messages that were posted there.
